WHAT?

THE 1vs1 TOURNAMENT FOR GK's ONLY

Both 1951GKCoaching and DOC are extremely happy to say that the booking for the

"BATTLE OF THE KEEPERS" is now open.

​

We are working to confirm the supporting crew that will join us during the day. However we are comfortable in saying that we have a physiotherapist, a S&C coach and food already sorted. We will have some new entries that will make our GK day even more special.

As we always said, GK's are the only ones that can play a tournament on their own so that they can prove who is the best in the business.

Kicking, throwing and goalkeeping techniques will be required to succeed,

 

We have changed the format slightly to make the games faster and reduced the number of players per group so that more games can be played by all GK's.

We had every single age group battling last year (including a Master and U14's girls group) which was fantastic and we would love to see the same happening this year. What we can certainly say is that every year, the tournament is getting tougher to win.

WHO?

​

The tournament is open to all GKs from U10's up to Seniors/Masters, male and female.

​

GK's will be grouped by similar age. The competition fields will have different kicking distances/goals for different age groups making sure that all games are going to be challenging.
